This is one of the best books I have read about managing people. It is easy to read and contains many relevant examples. A common characteristic among all great companies is a highly effective workforce which is directly related to effective leadership. If you are interested in learning how to become a better manager of people and achieving greater organizational results, I highly recommend you read this book.

Being an owener of a small international business I found Success with people a great guide in redeveloping our business plan. It guided me through some new avenues which have alreday brought new benifits to my company. I have reccomended it for all my employees and business counterparts.
Clear Guidelines for Effective Management

As an executive coach I find that most of my clients are struggling with finding the right people, employee productivity, and developing a review process that makes sense. David Russell does an excellent job providing clear, concise guidelines around these areas and more. This book is easy to read, lots of practical steps, and written to allow readers to go back and find the information they are looking for. One of the few books I keep on my desk.
A simple plan is created.

David Russell has created a system for managers that is simple to follow and can easily be applied. Anyone in a leadership position should read this book to help them uncomplicate their approach to leading an organization, or more importanly lead the people of an organization.

David sets out a practical and principled approach to leading the most important part of any organization - its people. David's common-sense methods and strategies are both encouraging and challenging. If you rely on other people, you need this book.
